Guatemala Casi Cielo

Coffee description: Aromatic and refined, Guatemala Casi Cielo™ has a unique floral aroma and a lemony acidity that is balanced with a rich, elegant flavor and smooth body, with finishes of dark cocoa.

Guatemala Casi Cielo™ - the name means "almost heaven." While you don't have to go that far to experience this indescribably rich coffee, you would have to dine at some of the country's finest restaurants. But for a limited time, this culinary masterpiece is available exclusively from Starbucks for your own special occasions. No reservation required.

More about this coffee:
Starbucks worked closely with the chefs at Seattle's legendary Canlis to create this fine dining coffee. Together, they discovered the remarkable depth and versatility of Guatemala Casi Cielo™. It is perfect for a variety of dishes and desserts - particularly those with savory herbs or cheeses, rich chocolate or berries. A sip begins with an elegant floral aroma and surprising lemony flourish, and it finishes with a deeply satisfying dark cocoa flavor.

What makes this coffee unique?

Starbucks helped fund the building and operation of medical clinics on Finca San Miguel and Finca Santa Clara. The clinics provide health care to residents of the farms and nearby communities. Coordination of vaccinations, health classes and instruction are part of this program.  Portions of profits from these farms’ coffee sales go directly to the annual funding of the clinic.
